When you first arrive - Please check in at the front desk upon arrival. We encourage new clients to arrive 10 minutes early to meet your instructor and be shown around the studio.
Our classes are suitable for all fitness levels and everyone is welcome.
Our instructors will give low and higher impact versions meaning everyone gets a great workout, and you will challenge your entire body, strengthening and lengthening your muscles.
Our exercises are always changing and challenging. We use balls, weights, bands, circles, and more to make your workout fun, and diverse, so you will leave our classes knowing that you have had a great work out and feel straighter and more aligned.
Our members are a mix of all ages and fitness levels and our clients love our studio because of its small class sizes and intimate feel.
What to Wear
We suggest Yoga-like attire, socks are optional, if you choose to wear socks please wear non-slip socks.
What to Bring
We have water for you but you are welcome to bring your own water bottle. We supply all the props that are needed in the classes including mats, however you are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.
The studio has Lockers, Cold Towels, Restrooms, Water, and Hot Tea!
Power Yoga with Lauren
I'm sure you already know how special Lauren Freeman is. Not only is she a talented instructor who makes Power Yoga fun, but respects and listens to her students. Last evening I was debating attending class due to "back issues acting up". I thought I would just modify my practice. However, Lauren helped me stretch and guided me in strenghtening areas where needed. I truly appreciate her attentiveness and love of what she does. She is a special lady.
Vinyasa Flow with Brendan Gibbons
I had the honor of attending several of Brendan’s classes until my work obligations circumvented me from continuing to enjoy this awesome class. It teaches you to breath with every motion, improves your flexibility, strength and endurance, while improving body tone and your cardiovascular system. Brendan has the ability to quiet the mind, so that you have a total presence within yourself during class.
Zumba with Miguel Aviles What can I say about Miquel! A ball of energy plus plus! Miquel’s infectious smile and welcoming demeanor help to make any newcomer welcome. He has the ability to make everyone in the class feel special, which in turn gives all of us a level of confidence we never knew we had and in turn everyone enjoys every minute of his class while getting a complete dance-fitness workout. His choice of music is also infectious and he also takes special care to make sure we do the moves properly. Miquel also pays close attention to those who are new or who have been away for awhile, to ensure they are not left in the dust. He carefully helps them through the routines and within minutes they are feeling comfortable!! To know Miguel is to Love Miguel!
GYROTONIC(R) Training session with Kathy
I began working with Kathy a little over a year ago. My goal was simple. I want to maintain an actice lifestyle that includes tennis, golf, swimming, bike riding and other activities. Before working with kathy I found myself crawling out of bed many mornings feeling like the aging process was winning the battle. One year later I can say that my work with Kathy has made a tremendous difference. The individualized approach using her unique GYROTONIC(R) equipment seemed to find my weakest areas with remarkable precision. Today I am stronger and more flexible. I am active 5-6 days a week and the ever present aches and pains have been reduced dramatically. I would highly recommend kathy to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, effective and joyable trainer.
Power Core Yoga with Lauren Freeman I had an opportunity to attend one of Lauren’s Power Core Yoga classes. When I say Lauren gets to the core of the matter, she really does! One feels empowered after they leave her class, with a sense of calm all over.
Hatha Yoga Flow with Alison Bernasco Alison is one of my favorites when it comes to yoga. Egos are checked at the door and Alison takes us through a special journey of our body, paying close attention to any issues one is having with their bodies, e.g., knee, neck, back, etc… I suffered from severe anxiety and Alison is one person that was able to help me get out of my own way and get in tune with my body and let my mind release the outside world, while I enjoyed the benefits of her class; connecting breath to motion, increasing my flexibility, improving my endurance, but most importantly giving me the feeling of inner peace. I also suffer from back and hip pain and Alison is able to help melt the pain away during her class. As if I am not already feeling relaxed during this journey, she always ends the class with a head and neck message with lavender oil, it’s a moment I carry with me throughout the day and her constant affirmations during class are a bonus!
Yoga 101 with Nadia Ratycz Nadia is one of my original yoga teachers, I initially followed her to Providence from another location. What a gentle and kind soul! Much like Brendan’s class, work circumvented and I am unable to attend her yoga classes at this time. Nadia has a gentle approach to yoga and often will include essential oils in her practice. I leave feeling calm, yet energized.
New Jersey Massage with Leslie
After all my comments about the classes I have taken, I would be remiss if I did not mention the massage I got from Leslie. I was actually suffering from severe back pain, could barely walk one day before a class. I was unable to take the class that day and it was suggested that I try a massage. Well, I booked a 60 minute deep tissue massage that left me feeling relaxed and free of pain. I was also taught some valuable stretching exercises I could do for my specific issues each day. I need to schedule another one soon. If I had the time, I would do this at least once a week! I can’t say enough about what this experience did for my body. Thank you Leslie!!
